JOHN ROUGHAN
‘Taking images of the past and restructuring, recreating and reconstructing, John hijacks the original works to present a new vision. Inspired in part by the Situationist International tactic of "Detournement" he reroutes the original narrative to tell a new story through these compositions. Created with a sense of playful curiosity these images present a different world layered with symbols and icons all presented to inspire the viewers imagination.’
 
John is a Graphic Artist and freelance Graphic Designer, he graduated from NMIT with a Bachelors Degree in Arts and Media in 2012. He has been making things ever since.
