Opening Event, Monday 8 October, 5:30pm. All Welcome
Runs until 27 October. Recent works from Mark Baskett 'The images included in this exhibition belong to a broader body of artwork - a work that has been developing now for over five and a half years. It presents viewers with a type of visual cartography, where imagery and information outline something of the places, the people, and the events that had once surrounded the artist. Focused too on the topics of neighbourhood and the neighbour - this is a work about memory and about the act of recalling one’s past. How might we recover, in our minds at least, what once stood so obviously before us? And what might remain of those who once existed just a stone´s throw away? Such are the questions and the ongoing concerns that have informed and driven forward these works.' Running 8 - 27 October
