WHAT IS ĀWHIO? Āwhio is a Toi Māori Hub, hopefully, based at 16 Paru Paru Rd. This area ‘Matangi Āwhio’ was also an historical trading place.  Āwhio/ Swirling winds also refers to the creative process that over 60 creatives will work through within this cultural hub. We are seeking support to make this a reality. Our annual operation costs will be $150, 000. Our charitable status is currently being worked on and we are asking for these donations as a pledge until this process is completed.
