The FAME Mid-Career Awards is an annual initiative honouring and supporting outstanding talent in the performing arts community of Aotearoa.

Nominations for recipients close 21 November.

Six awards, each with a cash prize of NZ$20,000.

3 Artistic Awards - Contemporary Dance: dancers, choreographers, kapa haka performers in a theatrical context. Classical Music: composers, conductors, instrumentalists, tanga puoro players.

Theatre: actors, directors, playwrights.

3 Technical and Producing Awards - Technicians/Production/Design professionals - lighting designers, theatre technicians, costume designers, sound & set designers. Producers & Stage Managers.
