Lloyd Harwood
Lloyd's paintings are notable for their simplicity of form and
strength of colour contrasts. He is inspired by the dualities he sees in everyday life, in
particular the contstant wonder and folly of being human.
Jane Evans
Life is bold, bright, exuberant and lyrical according to Jane Evans, and that's the
way she paints it. "For me definitely, art is life and life is art, because that's how I see life;
not as in the isolated sense that when I walk over to my studio and I paint that that is my art,
but in a total sense."
Kathryn Furniss
Kathryn's work is known for its bright vibrant colour and texture inspired by Pacific/Asian
landscape and objects (she often incorporates such things as nikau, shells, fish and
tableware).
Brian C. Strong
Brian Strong's paintings capture the NZ landscapes unique flavour with intense colours and special
Pacific light. Along with maps, historic documents, and layered images, a visual narrative is
integrated in each iconic painting.
